LAU, Allen Roger Wing Fu - Age 73, of Linden, formerly of Hawaii, passed away, October 9, 2023. A Memorial Service will take place at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton at a later date.
Allen was born, February 16, 1950 in Honolulu, HI, the son of Stanford Kam Chew and Annie (Anana) Lau. Allen was employed as a Laborer for many years with Perez Construction Co. of Flint. He also was employed by Goertz and Schiele as an Assembler and earlier with Richard Lee Construction in Hawaii. Allen was a member of both the Michigan Laborers Union and the Hawaii Laborers Union. Allen was an avid gun collector, enjoyed fishing and he especially loved taking his dog, Coal to the park everyday he could.
Allen is survived by his daughter, Rachel Ann Lau; sons, Allen Roger (Melissa) Lau Jr., Brenten (Jocelyn) Lau, and Kyle (Kalei) Lau; 13 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; sisters, Maydeen (Mike) Stancil, and Mayleen (Arthur) Lake; sister-in-law, Marian Lau; and many nieces and nephews.
Allen was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Stanford, Donald, Gordon, Leroy, and Steve; sisters, Elloreen, Eldoreen, and Kathleen. Online tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com. |
