SEVON, George Joseph – of Mt. Morris, MI, age 83, passed away on Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at McLaren Flint. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held on a later date.
George was born in Calumet, MI on October 18, 1937, son of the late Otto and Barbara (Gribaldo) Sevon. He married Caroline Erma Pankonin, the Sunshine of his Life, on December 21, 1972 in Detroit, MI. George was employed with Hudson’s for 35 years, which is where he met Caroline. He enjoyed bowling, camping and watching Detroit Red Wings hockey.
George is survived by his wife, Caroline Sevon; daughter, Maida (David) Demo; precious grandson, Evan Demo; sister, Katherine Lindley; brother, Michael Sevon; sister-in-law, Joan Sevon; many other loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Otto and Barbara Sevon; brother, Patrick Sevon and sister-in-law, Mary Sevon.
