KINGMAN, Shelly Ann, of Flint, age 66, died Friday, February 5, 2021 at McLaren Flint. Private funeral services will be held 1 PM Friday, February 12, 2021 at the Plumb-Smith Funeral Home, Pastor Sarah LaRose-Nettell officiating. Burial in Flint Memorial Park. Shelly will lie in state at the Plumb-Smith Funeral Home, G-1208 North Ballenger Highway, Flint Township, where family will receive friends 12-8 PM Thursday. Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic face coverings are required and social distancing is encouraged. Shelly was born October 4, 1954 in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of Alton and Iva (Shiflett) Kingman. She was a fun loving free spirit who loved adventure and made friends everywhere she went. Summer was her favorite season, if she couldn’t be in Florida. She loved sun and the beach. Shelly was the life of the party, loved to dance, and loved live music. She had many favorite bands, including Ramble On, Big Medicine, Detroit Audio Force, Daze of Glory, and Scotch & Jay. All Played a big part in her happiness. Surviving are: daughters, Trishia (Mike) Gager, Shannon (Paul) Ryder, Michelle (Jeff Carey) Cook, and Joey Weckler; grandchildren, Trista, Hawk, Joe, Hope, Alissa, Allison, Kaylee, Megan, Emily, Jeffrey Jr., Jared, Jacob, and Nickolas; great grandchildren, Alphonse, Jasper, Kenslie, Brayden, and Kaden; fur baby, Mischief; sisters, Sherry White of West Branch, and Sheila Kingman of Indianapolis; brother, Sheldon (Scott) Kingman of St. Helen; many nieces and nephews; and Best Friend, Joy. She is preceded in death by her parents Alton and Iva Kingman, her sister Sheryl, the love of her life Denny, her granddaughter Kayla Rose, and her beloved cat Smokey. |
