BILLS, William Henry – Of Grand Blanc, age 90, died Sunday, March 27, 2022 at Brookdale Memory Care.
Private graveside service will be held at Flint Memorial Park, Pastor Todd A. Biermann officiating.
Those desiring may make memorial contributions to Faith Lutheran Church.
William was born in Flint, Michigan on December 24, 1931, the son of the late Dilman and Lyda (Cool) Bills.
He graduated from Flint Northern High School Class of 1950.
He then served in the U.S. Army in Newfoundland.
On May 3, 1958 Bill married Marilyn Curtis.
Bill was a member of Faith Lutheran Church since 1966 and also a member of the Antique Auto Club of America.
He enjoyed working on cars, reading, map collecting and spending time with his family.
Mr. Bills retired from Sears after 40 years of service.
Surviving are wife, Marilyn;
3 children, Lori (David) Richiger,
Staci (Ronald) Daenzer and
Scott (Lorna) Bills;
grandchildren, Andrew Richiger, Megan (Anthony) Taylor, Emily Daenzer, Kaitlyn Daenzer, Alex Calderon’, Logan Bills, Joshua Daenzer, Kylie Bills and Evan Bills;
great-granddaughter, Avery Rose Taylor;
sisters, Jean Pemberton and Judy Garza;
sister-in-law, Patricia Bills;
brother-in-law, Michael (Candy) Curtis;
many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Edwin, Dale, Robert and Harrold; sisters, Velma Elston, Marjorie Hendershot and Audrey Simmons.
