JORDAN, Brenda Sue (Sergent) –of Burton, MI, age 69, passed away on Sunday, December 29, 2024. Per her wishes, cremation has taken place, and no services will be held.
Brenda was born in Flint, MI on October 18, 1955, daughter of the late Gale M. And Doris (Farmer) Sergent. She was a graduate of Bentley High School, and earned an Associate Degree from Baker College. Brenda married Gary L. Jordan on August 10, 1984, and he preceded her in death on May 9, 2003. She worked for Kessel Food Markets and Kroger as a meat wrapper, and later enjoyed working in the Davison High School Cafeteria. Brenda was a Dallas Cowboy fan, loved to watch NASCAR, but mostly cheered for her son and grandchildren. She had two green thumbs, and had the best gardens. Brenda was tough; a real “baddie”, often claiming she could wrestle a bear. She was the doting mom, the fun sister, the silly aunt and good friend.
Brenda will be remembered by her son, Christopher Jordan; grandchildren, Logan and Lorelei Jordan; sisters, Denise Novak, Linda Sergent, Bethany (Kevin) Skellenger; canine companion, Mika; many nieces, nephews, and friends. In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by her sister, Debra Sears; niece, Allison Skellenger.
