ALLRED, Karol “Polly” – of Davison, age 70, went home to be with her Heavenly Father on Saturday, January 12, 2013, at home. A Funeral Service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison, MI; Rev. Keith O’Neal officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Hills Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Monday, 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. and 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, and 10-11 a.m. Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Karol’s family.
Karol was born in Flint on April 21, 1942, daughter of the late Robert T. and Eileen L. (Eicher) Howard. Karol Howard married James Allred on January 26, 1963. James preceded her in death on September 18, 2010. Karol was a loving wife to her husband and a devoted mother to her children and grandchildren.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Valerie (Jeff) Thompson and Eileen (Mike) Jackson; sons, James (Rose) Allred and Daniel Allred; twelve grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; several nieces and nephews; many dear friends. An infant son preceded her in death.
