Burial at Dawn Memorial.
Shirley was born in Flint, Michigan on February 8, 1946, the daughter of the late William C. and Juanita Frances (Lewis) Simerson.
She loved her dogs and craft shows and enjoyed shopping til she dropped.
Shirley retired from Meijer after 26 years.
Surviving are children, Robert Towery, Timothy Towery, Angela Alexander;
many grandchildren;
sisters, Barbara Towery, Sherrie Simerson and William Simerson;
many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Towery; son, Brian Towery and one granddaughter.
