GAVETTE, Curtis G. - Age 81, of Linden, died Sunday, December 12, 2021. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, December 18, 2021 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St. Linden (A live stream of the service will be available on Curtis obituary page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com). Fr. David Harvey officiating. Burial in Fairview Cemetery, Linden. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Friday from 4-8 PM. Those desiring may make contributions to the Loose Senior Center, 707 N. Bridge St, Linden, MI 48451.
Curtis was born April 4, 1940 in Auburn Heights, the son of Gerdon and Martha Gavette. He was a 1958 graduate of Pontiac Northern High School. He married Barbara Ann Roughton December 21, 1990 and she preceded him in death March 6, 2015. Curtis has resided in Linden since 2002 coming from Waterford. He was a member of the Loose Senior Center. He enjoyed playing Euchre and spending time with his grandchildren.
Surviving are: 6 children; and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, other relatives, and several friends. He was also preceded in death by his parents. |
