DICK, Evelyn Delores – of Davison, MI, age 95, passed away on Tuesday, October 20, 2026. A Funeral Service will be held on her birthday, at 2 PM on Sunday, October 25, 2026, at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison, MI 48423; Larry Huntoon officiating. Family will receive visitors on Sunday from 11 AM until the time of service at Allen Funeral Home. As were her wishes, cremation will take place following the service and private inurnment will be in Great Lakes National Cemetery with her husband. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Homeopathy Help Network’s Give the Gift of Homeopathy campaign in memory of Evelyn.
There are many words that describe Evelyn: a devoted wife to her late husband, John; a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. But above all else, Evelyn was truly an angel.
She had a heart of gold, showing kindness to everyone she met and always offering a helping hand to anyone in need. Evelyn lived her life according to her Catholic faith and was a longtime member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church. She had a passion for learning about nutrition and health and generously shared her knowledge with those around her. Evelyn was grateful for every blessing, big or small, that life brought her. Through her words and actions, she taught her family the importance of staying positive, appreciating life’s gifts, and always choosing kindness.
Evelyn’s gentle spirit, generous heart, and unwavering positivity touched the lives of so many. Her love and the lessons she shared will forever live on in the hearts of her family and all who were fortunate enough to know her.
A quote from Evelyn: “The key to happiness is being thankful for what you are given in life”.
Evelyn leaves behind her six children, Gail Urchyk, Sheree (Larry) Huntoon, Patricia (Robert) Skinner, John (Nancy) Dick Jr., Marifrances (Keith) Justus, and Tom (Angie) Dick, and many loving grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and close friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Frank Lorence, mother, Elizabeth Lorence, brother, Frank Lorence, Jr., husband, John Dick Sr., and son-in-law, Richard Urchyk.
