RAFFOUL, AIDA – Of age 87, died Friday, November 25, 2022 at Ascension Genesys Hospital.
The family will meet at the entrance of the cemetery and Graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, November 28, 2022 at Evergreen Cemetery, Grand Blanc, Father Joe Abud officiating.
Burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
Aida was born in Haifa, Palestine on April 1,1935 to Costandi and Kamley Ghantous.
Aida absolutely loved spending time with her family and friends. She adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved making food with the Ladies auxiliary at the church she attended, St. George Orthodox Church. She enjoyed catering and hosting parties as she would not sit down until everyone was fed and satisfied. She loved gardening, shopping, and most importantly going to the casino.
Surviving are son Michael Khal, Micheline (Jim) Russell, Samir Khal (Susan Hughes), Sami Khal; Grandchildren: Samantha Maynard, Courtney (William) Jackson, Zaina Khal (Jordan Frey); Great Grandchildren: Brandon, Alexis, Zane and Mason; Nephew: Fadi Ghantous; Niece: Yvette Ghantous; Special family friend: Bassam.
She is preceded in death by her sister Abla Joaneh, her brother Camille, brother Faouzi, brother Jamil, sister in law Hasna, nephew Naji Ghantous, her husband Adel Raffoul, and former husband Raja Khal.
The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses on 4 South at Ascension Genesys for the care they provided.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. George Orthodox Church.
