Cynthia May (Perry) Henderson, age 57, of Vanderbilt, Michigan, passed away on September 24, 2022. She was born on February 8, 1965, to Lonnie and Dorothy (Parkin) Perry. She married her husband John P. Henderson on August 7, 1992, and they spent 30 loving years together. Cyndi loved her family more than anything else. She took pride in being the rock and support system to many people whom she loved as her own. She often would take in neighborhood kids and was a mother figure to many of them.
She loved to be out enjoying nature; whether that be fishing or pointing and telling Johnny what to do in the garden. Cyndi and Johnny also loved to travel with their dogs in the family’s camper.
Cynthia was a recipient of an organ transplant, and in return, her final wish was to donate her organs and help continue organ transplantation education, which she was able to do through Gift of Life.
Cyndi is survived by her husband, Johnny; children, Philip and Raina; father, Lonnie (Star); siblings, Lonnie and Stella (Mike); nieces and nephews, Stephanie, Jake, and Andy; and many great nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy.
A memorial service will be held on October 2, 2022, at 2:30 p.m. with visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m. at the Corwith Township Hall in Vanderbilt. The family would like to invite guests to stay following the service for a luncheon and time of remembrance and celebration of Cyndi’s beautiful life.
