Michael Christopher Joseph, age 36, died Wednesday May 18, 2021 at Ascension Genesys Hospital. Fulfilling his wishes to save a life, organ donation has taken place. A private memorial service for family will be held at a later date.
Michael is survived by his father, Jason (Christy) Joseph; mother, Lori (Andy) Peterson; brothers, Bradley and David Peterson; grandmother, Nova Valenti; grandparents, Kenneth and Pat Peterson; several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his brother, Jonathan; grandparents, Ernest and Roula Joseph; and grandfather, Donald Valenti.
Michael was a kind soul who loved to read, watch movies, enjoy music, and theatre. In his youth, Michael played travel soccer, and was the protective big brother for Jonathan, Bradley, and David. If you knew Michael, he may have impressed you along the way with an obscure fact or bit of information that he retained from the many books he read. He dabbled with writing for a time, and often dreamt of travel to foreign lands. Unfortunately his life was cut short of those trips, and he retained that jest for a good story and far away places until the end.
