ROBART, RYAN CHRISTOPHER – Of Bridgeport, age 56, passed away Sunday, February 12, 2023 at his residence.
Funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. Friday, February 17, 2023 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Father Dieudonne Ntakarutimana officiating.
Burial in Flint Memorial Park.
Those desiring may make contributions to the Knights of Columbus.
Visitation 11 a.m. – 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Ryan was born in Flint, Michigan on October 1, 1966, the son of Norman and Jillaine (Gillespie) Robart.
On June 22, 2008 he married Candace Rupright.
Ryan worked for Dow Chemical for 26 years.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, loved to be outdoors and watching Michigan Football games.
Surviving are wife, Candace;
children, Cassandra and husband Luke Ruggles, Alexandrea Robart,
Curran Robart, Kirsten and husband Ricky Simpson;
5 grandchildren, Braddock, Dickie, Jameson, Bralin and Logan;
parents, Norman and wife Judy Robart and Jilliane Robart;
3 brothers, Robert and wife Kathleen Robart, Richard and wife Jackey Robart and Roan Robart;
father-in-law, Dan Rupright;
niece, Erin and husband Chris; nephews, Jacob and Greyson.
He was preceded in death by his nephew, Jason; grandfather, Elwood; uncles, Bob Gillespie and Marvin Robart.
