BELL, Barbara Kay (Gebstadt) - Of Fenton, age 74, died Saturday, February 15, 2014 at her residence.
Funeral service will be held 2pm Wednesday, February 19, 2014
at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to the charity of choice.
Visitation 10am Wednesday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Barbara was born in Flint on May 28, 1939, the daughter of the late Remy and Bernetta Gebstadt. Barbara married Ronald Bell on March 12, 1960 in Flint and he preceded her in death on April 24, 2011. She graduated from Northern High School. Barbara was a member of the Fenton Gardening Club. She loved cooking, gardening, classical music, antiques and spending time with her family. Barbara had a big heart when it came to helping out animals.
Surviving are three children, Stacey and husband Trent Haverstick, Ronald Scott and wife Tanya, Shannon and husband Myron Johnson of Flint;
three grandchildren, Ashley and husband Chris, Paige and Ronald L. Bell II;
brother, Kurt and wife Dee Gebstadt and sister, Susan and husband Jim Underwood;
and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Barbara was also preceded in death by her brother, Fred Gebstadt.
