Flora Sue (Williamson) Locke-Owen Age 81 went home to be with the Lord on Sunday July 4th 2021 in Hopewell, Virginia while visiting her sister Nancy Kelly. Sue was born on August 4th 1939. Preceded in death by her parents Richard Columbus Williamson and Merrible Margaret MacDougal; her husband Jimmy Farrel Owen; Brothers Richard Gene, James Robert, Donald Jerry and John Dale Williamson; Sisters Patricia Ann Sclater-Leiter and Rosemary Townsend. Surviving are her son Philip Andrew Locke (Parker and Paige); Sister Nancy Kelly (Sebern); step-son Kris Owen (Mary); stepdaughter Jamie Pagel (Ron); brother-in-law Ted Townsend (Rosemary); sister-in-law Peggy Williamson (Johnny); cousin Laura Harwood Vanderford (Sam); and many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren and friends. Sue was a life time member of Hope United Methodist Church. She loved Elvis memorabilia and was a meeting of a Red Hat. Sue will be remembered for her sunny disposition and that she never met a stranger. |
