HUSTON, Robert D. – of Burton, age 76, died on Sunday, September 13, 2026, at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. Funeral services will be held at 12:30PM Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Fr. Jay Gantz officiating. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10:30AM until the time of service at 12:30PM. Burial will take place at 2:30PM Tuesday at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly with full military honors.
Robert was born on December 7, 1949, in Cadillac, Michigan, to the late Loren and Betty (Elenbaas) Huston. He graduated from Clio High School with the class of 1969. Mr. Huston honorably served his country in the U.S. Army. Robert retired from Buick in 2002 with 30 years of service. He enjoyed traveling, especially to the Philippines. Robert was a wonderful neighbor who genuinely cared about those around him and was always there to lend a helping hand.
