PACK, Mildred Marie - Of Flint, age 87, died peacefully at home Friday, January 11, 2019.
Funeral service will be held 12 Noon, Thursday, January 17, 2019 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Pastor Steve Wood officiating.
Burial in Crestwood Cemetery.
Contributions may be made to the Michael J. Fox Parkinson’s Foundation.
Visitation 1-8pm Wednesday and 11am Thursday at the funeral home until the time of the service.
Mildred was born in Mount Airy, North Carolina on October 8, 1931, the daughter of the late Daniel and Ronnie (Spivey) Creed. She married William Newton Pack in South Carolina and he preceded her in death. She was employed at Kresge’s. Mildred loved children and her family. She was always happy and was giving and caring. She never met a stranger and was always friendly and helpful. Mildred was a lifetime devout Pentecostal Christian; her faith was extremely important to her. She loved animals, especially her kitty cat, Sparkey.
Surviving are daughter, Trisha (Pete) Baran;
granddaughter, MeChelle Lejk;
sister, Jewel (Tony) Smith;
and nephew Jerry (Carolyn) Martin.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William N. Pack, sister, Carrie Ruth Martin and brother, Curtis Creed.
