King, Austin – of Millington, age 40, died unexpectedly on Thursday, November 24, 2022. Funeral services will be held at 1PM on Friday, December 2, 2022, at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Pastor Adam Manning officiating. Cremation will follow. The family will receive visitors on Friday from 10AM until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Welcome Home Food Ministry at Spring of Life Church, Mayville, MI.
Austin was born August 15, 1982, in Flint, Michigan to Randy and Brenda (Beckman) King. Austin attended Lakeville High School, graduating with the class of 2001. He was a freelance carpenter for 20 plus years. Specializing in framing. Austin enjoyed attending Spring of Life Church in Mayville. He loved football and everything that had to do with the game. Austin was a collector of many things. He enjoyed music from all different genres. He enjoyed the outdoors and traveling. Overall, he loved living life and enjoyed change. Above all he was a wonderful son, brother, grandson, and nephew who will be greatly missed.
Surviving are: Mom, Brenda King; Dad, Randy (Deborah) King; Brothers: Travis (Jessica Austin) King, and Jim (Heather Latimer) Veness. Nieces and Nephews: Peyton and Keiser King, Jennifer Brush, Zachary Ford, and Charlotte Veness; Uncles: Daniel Hislope, Darrel (Dana) Hislope, Paul (Jenny) Gridley; Aunts: Janice (Tom) Ward, Kathy (Larry) Coblentz, and Carrie (Rodger) Egert, Johnnie Lynn McDill; Cousins: Jason (Tammy) Ward, Sherri (Aaron) Tower. He is preceded in death by grandparents: Gary (Shirley) King; Grandma, Marilyn McDill; Great Grandparents: Arthur (Beatrice) King, Bert (Leona) Branard; Cousin, Jared Hislope.
