CHRISTENSON, Jeffery – of Flint, Michigan, age 66, died February 14, 2022, at Ascension St. Mary’s Hospital in Saginaw. Honoring his wishes, cremation will take place and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Emmanuel Church of Grand Blanc, Michigan.
Jeffery was born September 20, 1955, in Flint, Michigan, to the late William Christenson and Mary (Starlin) Christenson. He graduated from Flint Central High School with the class of 1974. Jeffery loved music and visiting with friends. His great joy was singing in the choir at Great Lakes Baptist Church. Jeff was a gentle giant who knew no strangers and was loved by many.
Surviving are Siblings: Robert (Tina) Christenson, Laura (Kurt) Kemp, and Corey (Sylvia) Christenson, along with several nieces and nephews. Many thanks to his friends from the East Side of Flint that looked after Jeffery over the years and also to the churches and mission organizations from which Jeff received help and assistance. A very special thank you goes out to John L., Chris M., Rose B., Gary M., and Jerry D. for your friendship and dedication.
Jeffery is preceded in death by his parents; William and Mary Christenson.
