Siegel, Brooke Danielle, of Flushing, age 51, died Thursday, March 9, 2023.
Brooke was born on February 29, 1972, the beloved daughter of John and Mary Ann (Ballentine) Siegel. She graduated from Flushing High School (1990) and Ferris College (1994). Later she worked at The Palace doing event camera work and apartment management.
Brooke is lovingly remembered by her Aunt Margie Maynard (Dan), Uncle Don Ballentine (Patricia), Cousins Shawn Gibeault(Jeff), Nicole Maynard-Powell (John) and Derek Maynard (Cyndi), Yvonne Miller (deceased), Stacie French (Mike) and Bryan Ballentine.
Brooke was a family person who was devoted to her parents. She was a loving and constant caretaker to both her mother and father in their final years. She was a true animal lover with a special heart for cats including her current cats, Godiva and Willow.
She was an honorary aunt to her special second cousins who adored her. They will remember her as the “fun one” who was always willing to act like a kid with them. Brooke was their biggest cheerleader and made each one of them feel special.
She was known for her sharp wit and blunt humor in any situation. She loved makeup and had a great sense of style. Brooke was a talented writer who could beautifully share her feelings and emotions through her words.
Our family is heartbroken at the loss of our cherished Brooke, but she will always be remembered for her loving and feisty spirit. We are blessed by so many memories of Brooke that we will carry with us forever.
There will be no public funeral service. A private family memorial will be held at a later time. If you want to honor Brooke’s memory, please donate to Los Gatos Foster Animals P.O. Box 441 Davison, MI 48423. They are currently caring for both of her cats to prepare them for adoption. |
