HAGER, Jason Phillip, age 31, of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, formerly of Swartz Creek, Michigan, passed away September 12, 2022 in Pontiac, Michigan.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, September 17, 2022 at 1 pm at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 W. Hill Road in Flint Michigan.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 16, 2022 from 1-8pm and Saturday 17, 2022 10am till time of service at 1pm at the funeral home with Interment at Crestwood Cemetery in Grand Blanc.
Donations can be made in Jason's name to the Humane Society.
Jason was born March 18, 1991 the loving son of David and Cheryl (Skinner) Hager of Swartz Creek. Jason attended Grand Blanc High School, Class of 2009 and received a Master’s Degree from Oakland University in Rochester MI. Jason was an easy going loving man who was devoted to his family and friends. He loved spending time with his nephews, caring for his plants and a love for all animals. He was active in running, bicycling, kayaking and golfing with his many great friends. Jason loved baseball and played travel ball from an early age making life time friends. After playing for Grand Blanc High School he received a scholarship from Oakland University playing on their baseball team for 6 years as a pitcher. He was employed at Venteon in Troy MI on the Finance Team. He will be sadly missed by his family and all his great friends.
Surviving are his parents, David and Cheryl (Skinner)Hager; sister, Jennifer (Travis) Mitchell of Perry; nephews, Hunter and Hayden Mitchell; grandmother, Delores Hager of Burton; great uncle, Darwin Wheeler of Clio, uncle, Tim(Mindy)Hager of Burton; aunt, Laura(Alan)Miller of Davison, cousins, Eric and Matt Hager, Warren and Andrew Miller.
He was preceded in death by his uncle, Brian Hager, grandfather, James Hager, grandparents, Sandra and Thomas Skinner, great aunt, Marcie Wheeler, great aunt, Rita Nestor.
Thanks so much to the Wonderful Staff of Doctors and Nurses at Saint Joseph Hospital in Pontiac that cared for Jason he felt your caring love.
