PHILLIPS, Ruby Aladean - Age 86, of Swartz Creek, died February 7, 2022. Visitation Tuesday, February 15th, 10 a.m. until time of Chapel Service at 12 noon at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Interment Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly. Those desiring may make contributions to American Cancer Society.
Ruby was born April 8, 1935 in Big Rock, VA the daughter of the late Thomas and Rosa (Wolford) Lockhart. She was married to Roy Devoid Phillips on August 25, 1951. Rosa loved spending time with her family and friends, especially playing BINGO.
Surviving are: 5 children, Roy (Katie) Phillips Jr., Lloyd (Cynthia) Phillips, Richard Phillips, Thomas (Dawn) Phillips, and Jennifer Phillips; 11 grandchildren, Whitney (Sam) Doerr, Wesley, Kelsey, Christopher, & Brett (Krista) Phillips, Jessica (Roy) Love, Leslie Ann, Daniel, Owen, & Tanner Phillips, & Nathan Sargent; 10 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters: June & Loraine.
