YOUNG, John A. - Of Flushing, age 80, died Tuesday, July 18, 2023 at Wellbridge of Grand Blanc.
A memorial service will be held 3:30pm Sunday, July 30, 2023
at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Contributions may be made to Child Evangelism Fellowship.
Visitation 2pm Sunday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
John was born in Port Huron, Michigan on December 31, 1942, the son of the late Albert and Ethel (McAuley) Young. He was a custodian for many years at Ross Bible Church in Port Huron. He attended Mayfair Bible Church. John enjoyed playing Farkle, Yatzee and Euchre and was an avid collector of Teddy Bears. He was very social and enjoyed the company of others.
Surviving are sister, Pat;
and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his siblings, Bob, Bev, Jerry and Carl.
