Kathleen “Kitty” Ann Looman, 86, of Mount Pleasant, entered peacefully into Heaven on Tuesday, May 19, 2026. Kitty was born on May 24, 1939, in Mount Pleasant, Michigan, to Arnold and Eunice Crawford. She graduated from Mount Pleasant High School in 1957 and later attended Central Michigan University, where she met the love of her life, Therman Looman. The couple married on September 22, 1961. They briefly lived in Van Nuys, California before returning to Mount Pleasant, where they built their life together. Throughout her professional career, Kitty worked for Michigan Consolidated Gas Company and later for The Coca-Cola Company. She enjoyed camping, taking scenic drives with no destination in mind, and knitting. Most of all, Kitty cherished the time she spent with her family. Kitty is survived by her devoted husband, Therman Looman; her three daughters, Lori (Michael) Macklin of Bulger, Pennsylvania, Shari (James) Foldesi of Seal Beach, California, and Jerri (Rene) Ayala of Anaheim Hills, California; seven grandchildren, Michael (Kacey), Jamie (Michael), Danielle (Robert), Morgan (Celia), Sydnie, Trenton (Kailee), and Ty; and nine great-grandchildren, Bradley, Skylar, Gabriella, Aria, Alexandria, Christopher, Bianca, Shay, and Eli. She is also survived by her brother, James (Shirley) Crawford, along with many loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arnold and Eunice Crawford, and her brother, William Crawford. Services have been entrusted to Clark Family Funeral Chapel & Cremation Service. Visitation will be held at the funeral chapel on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. and on Wednesday, May 27, 2026 from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Funeral services taking place on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Memorial Gardens Cemetery. A Luncheon will immediately follow in the Reflections Reception Center. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Crestwood Village of Mt. Pleasant. Envelopes will be available at the funeral chapel. Kitty will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and unwavering love for her family and friends. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
