WAGNER, Mabel – Of Tawas, formerly of Burton and Flint, age 100, died Sunday, March 14, 2021 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Saginaw.
A private funeral service will be held at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Pastor Steve Wood officiating.
Visitation 4-8pm Thursday, March 18, 2021 at the funeral home.
Due to Covid-19 and government regulations, only 25 people will be allowed in the chapel at one time. Mask, group capacity and distancing guidelines must be practiced.
Burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
Mabel was born in Reedsburg Township, Wisconsin on August 27, 1920, the daughter of the late Herman and Bessie (Alford) Dargel. She was the past owner of Trail Draperies in Flint.
Surviving are children, Marion Nordstrom, Jim (Monica) Wagner, Nancy (Dennis) Clark, Cindy Wagner and Art MacMillian;
10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren;
Sister, Eva Mittlesteadt;
Brother, Frank Dargel;
And several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by 3 brothers, 3 sisters, a son-in-law, Louie Nordstrom, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
