Donna M. (McCall) Croft age 79 of Durand, passed away Wednesday, December 13, 2023 at Vibrant Life Senior-Living of Durand, surrounded by her family. Funeral service will be 11:00 AM on Monday, December 18, 2023 at Watkins Brothers Funeral Homes, Durand Chapel. Family will receive friends on Sunday, from 2-4 and 6-8 PM and one hour prior to the service.
Donna was born in Pontiac, MI on June 20, 1944 the daughter of Charles and Evelyn (Nissen) McCall of Wixom, MI. She attended school at Walled Lake Central School. Donna married her husband of 64 years, Howard S. Croft on May 3, 1959. She was a homemaker, wife, and mother of 4 for many years. Donna was a medical assistant for several different doctors in the Walled Lake area. Donna was very active in her children's education and life on the family farm. She loved making dolls, sewing, and quilting.
Donna is survived by her children Deborah (Kenneth) White of Linden, Marilyn (Thomas) Lasich of Fort Collins, CO, Heather (Brad) Croft-Brast of Williston, FL, and Charles Croft of Durand. Grandchildren, Emily (Matthew) Conant, Rebecca (Wilton) Imgarten, Ryan (Aubrey) Spencer, Cainaen McGhee, Taylor (Kyle) Duley, Logan Sloan, Lucas Sloan, and Chloe Croft; great grandchildren, Michael and Moira Conant, Wesley and Paisley Spencer, Arabella McGhee, and Kinsley and Landon Imgarten, and great granddaughter Duley who is on the way. Her sister-in-law, Denise McCall; and brother-in-law, Terry (Rita) Croft. Many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard; infant son, Richard; grandson, Joshua Lasich; infant great grandson, Alan Conant; and both of her parents.
