GUNSELL, Mathew Edwin – Of Burton, age 64, died Sunday, February 23, 2014 at his residence, surrounded by loved ones.
Interment at Great Lakes National Cemetery.
Mathew was born in Flint, MI on October 23, 1949, the son of David and Genevieve (Cooper) Gunsell.
On September 8, 1983 he married Laurie Dowell in Flint.
He was a member of the VFW Post #822 and a life member of the D.A.V.
Mr. Gunsell was employed as a roofer.
Surviving are wife, Laurie (Dowell) Gunsell;
son, Mathew E., Jr. (Heather) Gunsell;
daughters, Jennifer A. (Paul)Gunsell-Pepitone and
Shannon M. Macek;
one sister, Margaret (Gilbert) Snider;
one brother, Edward (Marge) Gunsell and
ten grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers and sisters.
