Ronald Lee James, age 59 of Alger, passed away peacefully on May 14, 2021 at the Mid-Michigan Medical Center in Midland, Michigan.
He is survived by his wife, Wendy Jo. Son, Devin Cody James of Mikado. Siblings, Clayton James of Hale, Cheryl James of Grand Rapids and Debbie Lechnyr of Ortonville. Many nieces and nephews also survive.
Ronald was born on January 15, 1962 in Pontiac, Michigan to the late Leroy Melvin and Shirley Ann (Lindberg) James. He liked to play cribbage, dice, cards and especially…darts. Ronald was a “people person” who didn’t mind standing out in a crowd and was known to lend a hand to those in need. He was a member of the Eagles, West Branch Moose Lodge and was nicknamed; “Cheeseburger” when he worked at the Long Lake Bar.
Mr. James was preceded in death by his parents and brother; Kevin James.
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life Service will be announced and held at a future date.
