MARSDEN, Jean Ann – of Clio, age 91, died Saturday, December 12, 2020 at Hyde Park Assisted Living. Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at Flint Memorial Park. Rev. Cathi Huvaere officiating. Memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
Jean was born April 19, 1929 in Flint, Michigan to the late David and Amelia (Crouse) Heakins. She grew up in Flint, Michigan and graduated from Central High School with the class of 1947. On February 11, 1961 she married Roy Marsden and he preceded her in death in 1980. Jean was a member of the Bethany United Methodist Church where she volunteered her time to several events at the church. She was also a member of the Red Hat Society and the Clio Senior Center. Jean enjoyed crocheting, playing cards, bowling, and making bead necklaces. She loved to spend her winters in Arizona and go shopping with her girls.
Surviving are; Daughters, Linda (Jerry) Mayfield, Jan (Dean) Wagner; Grandchildren, Dustin Mayfield, Zachary Mayfield, Garrett (Charity) Wagner, Sara (Brian) Hendricks, Rachel (Steve) Lewis, Ashley (Dave) DeSano; Great Grandchildren, Carson Wagner, Kendall Wagner, MicKenzie Hendricks, Madilynn Hendricks, Ava Hendricks, Logan Hendricks, Brooke Hendricks, Patrick Lewis, Cole Lewis, Grace Lewis, Brinley DeSano, Reagan Desano, and one on the way; Brother, David Heakins.
