Julius was born on January 31, 1938, in Flint, Michigan. He graduated from Clio High school with the class of 1958. Julius married the love of his life, Goldie “Betty” Wolfe, on December 4, 1971. Their marriage was filled with love, laughter, and countless cherished memories until her passing on February 21, 2015. Julius retired from General Motors in October of 1996, where he worked as a dedicated metal finisher. He was an active member of the Mid-Michigan Antique Machinery Association and never missed a chance to share his passion for classic craftsmanship. A true fan through and through, Julius lived for Detroit sports and proudly rooted for the Tigers, Lions, Red Wings, and Pistons—always with an infectious enthusiasm and shout of “Dee-Troit!”. Beyond his love of sports, Julius also enjoyed gardening and found great purpose in volunteering. He had a generous heart for service, and if there was work to be done, you could always count on him to show up with a smile and lend a helping hand.
