PERKINS, Ida Mae “Jake” - Of Flint, age 99, died Sunday, June 12, 2022 at her residence.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
Jake (Ida Mae) was born on January 16, 1923, the daughter of the late Herman and Susan Leix. She is predeceased in death by her husband, Robert Perkins, a World War II vet and her sister, Irma Herrick. Even though they called her Jake, she was all girl and loved her bling and the color pink and she always worked hard and was an inspiration to all who knew her. She also loved Euchre and playing nickels. She will be sorely missed by all her family and friends. Jake was very talented seamstress who knitted many afghans.
Surviving are sons, Jeri (Lynda) Perkins, Richard Perkins and Randy Perkins;
Grandchildren, Jamie Perkins and great-grandkids, Tyler and Russelle;
several nieces and nephews;
And one very special niece, Sue Faily and husband, Jack.
