UNDERWOOD, Norman – of Burton, MI, age 88, passed away Thursday, September 9, 2021 at Maple Woods Manor. A Funeral Service will be held 1 PM Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423; Deacon Michael Dear officiating. Interment in Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive visitors 11 AM-1 PM Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at Allen Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Genesee County.
Norman was born in Flint, MI on July 18, 1933, son of the late Stanley and Ellen (Howarth) Underwood. He worked for White Haines Optical in Flint, MI. Norman enjoyed working on cars and collecting model cars.
Norman is survived by long-time fiancée, Donna Seidel; 2 nieces, Kathy (David) Andrews and Judy (Barry) Smith; 1 great-niece, Jenni Smith; 4 great-nephews, Matt (Margaret) Andrews, Dion (Anna) Andrews, Calvin Andrews and Kip (Lindsey) Andrews; Donna’s family, son, Bill (Tracy) Seidel; grandson, Logan Seidel; daughter, Jennifer Seidel; 2 granddaughters, Jovonia Thompson and Jadyn Thompson; 3 great-great-nieces; 2 great-great-nephews; many other loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley and Ellen Underwood; brother, Gilbert Underwood and great-nephew, Kyle Smith.
