SHAVER, Mary Joyce - Of Flint, age 71, died Tuesday, June 21, 2022
at Henry Ford Hospital.
Funeral service will be held 11am Saturday, June 25, 2022 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Burial in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation 5-8pm Friday at the funeral home. A Rosary will be prayed 7pm Friday evening at the funeral home.
Mary was born on November 6, 1950 the daughter of the late Chester and Edna (Clark) Shaver. She graduated from St. Matthew High School, Class of 1969. Mary was a Registered Nurse for 30 years at McLaren Hospital, retiring in 2000. She was the kindest woman anybody could meet. Above all else, she loved her family.
Surviving are sister, Martha Shaver;
nieces and nephews, Amy (Kenneth) Laatz, Joseph Yambrick, Christa Klingensmith, Jeremy (Alicia) Shaver and Jeffrey Shaver;
and many great nieces and nephews.
Waiting for her in Heaven are her parents, Chester and Edna, siblings, Catherine Tannenbaum Karen Jamison and Gerald Shaver and her nephew, Aaron Girard.
