GAUS, Adeline – Of age 96, devoted wife and mother passed away Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at Medi Lodge of Grand Blanc.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, December 19, 2022 at Peace Presbyterian Church, 1521 Elms Road, Pastor David Galbraith officiating.
Visitation will be held 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Sunday, December 18, 2022 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road.
In addition there will be visitation at the church from 10:00 a.m. Monday until the time of service.
Burial in Flint Memorial Park.
Those desiring may make contributions to Peace Presbyterian Church or Carriage Town Ministries.
Adeline was born in Flint, Michigan on July 14, 1926, and resided in Flint her entire life. She was a lifelong member of Peace Presbyterian Church formerly known as First Reformed Church.
Adeline was a choir member and served missionaries as a member of the Dorcas Circle. She was also a member of the American Historical Society of German Russians.
She is survived by her daughter, Becky (Tim) Strand; her sons, David (Linda) and Joe (Cindy).
She is also survived by her grandchildren, Mary (Brian)Koralewski, Matthew, Steven and Hannah;
four great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Adeline was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Donald Gaus.
