REBECCA “BECKY” SUE DURHAM, age 70 of Davison, died Friday, December 11, 2020 at the Hospice House of Shiawassee County. Her funeral service will be held at 4PM on Saturday, December 19, 2020 at the Mumford-Hudson Funeral Home, with Chaplin Mike Dalrymple and Pastor Todd officiating. Cremation will follow the service. The family will receive visitors on Saturday, December 19, 2020 from 1PM until the time of her service. Due to Covid-19 and government regulations, only 25 people will be allowed in the chapel at one time. Mask, group capacity and distancing guidelines must be practiced. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to McLaren Hospice, 1515 Cal Dr., Davison, MI 48423 or to Hospice House of Shiawassee County, 2005 E. Copas Rd., Owosso, MI 48867. Becky was born on June 22, 1950 to Warren and Mary Durham. She enjoyed reading, crocheting, cooking, and going to the casino. She had a great sense of humor and liked going out and about, visiting with people. She also enjoyed her time working at the Kroger gas station in Davison, where she could visit with people. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family. Becky is survived by her children: Delores (Jeff) VanBleet, James (Cathy) Dalrymple Jr., and Theresa (Tim) Anderson; 18 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren; 3 sisters: Martha Hunt, Mary Morris and Elenor Garrett; and special friends that she thought of as sisters who helped her out during her illness: Debbie Cameron, Linda Moynihan, Theresa Loney, and Cathy Laforest. The family would like to say thank you to her nurse at McLaren Hospice, Ashley Carpenter, and a very special thank you to her mailman, Christopher Miller, who went above and beyond to help Becky. She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings: Josephine Schalin and Chuck Durham; and special friend, Leon Roney. |
