MCCLAIN, Katherine Ruth - Of Essexville, formerly of Swartz Creek, age 81, died Friday, November 27, 2020 at Bay County Medical Facility.
Visitation 5-8pm Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Due to Covid-19 and government regulations, only 25 people will be allowed in the chapel at one time. Mask, group capacity and distancing guidelines must be practiced.
Burial in Crestwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Millet Learning Center.
Katherine was born in Flint, Michigan on May 25, 1939, and was the daughter of Ruth and Clyde Woodbury, Jr. She was a registered nurse with Mott Children's Health Center for 28 years.
Surviving are daughter, Ammie and husband Neal Young of Saginaw;
2 granddaughters, Jennica and Rachael;
sisters-in-law, Dianna Scully, Linda McClain and Effie Alles;
brothers-in-law, Ted McClain, Frank McClain and Ron Alles;
and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles; her parents; and her brother, Clyde Woodbury III.
