Ross was born on April 10, 1984, in Kirkland, Washington, to Jason and Kelley (Moseley) Freeman. He grew up in Mt. Morris and graduated from Kearsley High School. Ross was a skilled carpenter for many years, and in the last three years was a painter, working alongside his best friend, Steve Platman. Beyond his profession, Ross was deeply involved and beloved in the youth sports community. He found immense fulfillment coaching both wrestling and baseball, instilling not only athletic skills but also invaluable life lessons in young athletes, and took particular pride in coaching his own sons. For over two decades, Ross served as an official for the MMWA (Michigan Mat Wrestling Association), where his professionalism and integrity shone brightly. Moreover, his love for the sport led him to establish the Bentley Wrestling Club and become a long-time member of the Mt. Morris Mountaineers. When not working or coaching, Ross enjoyed the tranquility of fishing and the adventures of camping. Growing up, Ross shared a special bond with his late grandfather, Ross Gordon Moseley, affectionately known as "Grandpa Mo." Their relationship was one of love, respect, and wisdom passed down through generations. Above all else, he valued time spent with his beloved sons. Ross was a kind-hearted soul who brought joy and laughter to all those around him. He had an infectious smile that could light up a room, making him a friend to all who knew him. Ross will be greatly missed, but always remembered for his kind and generous spirit, and always willing to lend a helping hand.

Surviving are: Sons: Cameron Freeman and Blake Freeman; Father, Jason (Margo) Freeman; Brother, Zach (Jackie) Freeman; Sisters: Erika Freeman, and Hannah Freeman (Johnathan Albro); many other loving family members and dear friends. Ross was also preceded in death by his mother, Kelley Freeman. Please sign our guestbook or share an online condolence with the family at www.oguinnfh.com.
