COBLEIGH, Laurence O. “Larry” – of Montrose, age 83, died peacefully at home on Saturday, February 1, 2025, with family by his side. Honoring his wishes, cremation will be taking place. The family will receive visitors for a memorial gathering at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Montrose on Thursday, February 6, 2025, from 2PM until 6PM.
Larry was born February 14, 1941, in Flint, Michigan, to the late Lawrence and Leona (Whitney) Cobleigh. He was a resident of Montrose most of his life and was raised on a farm. Larry married Carole Cook on January 7, 1961, they enjoyed many happy years together before her passing on March 6, 2017. He retired from General Motors after 30 years of service, then acquired a Michigan Builders License to do tile, wood floors, and remodeling.
Surviving are: Children: Lee (Beth) Cobleigh, Mark Cobleigh, James Cobleigh, and Michelle (James) Hillaker; Grandchildren: Lisa Cobleigh, Sarah Ismail, Joshua (Asma) Cobleigh, Lauren (Bobby) Kraft, Jacob (Marissa) Cobleigh, Janelle Cobleigh, Austin (Sara) Hillaker, Branden Hillaker, and Emily (Seth) Reel; Great grandchildren: Alison, Mia, Liam, Elliott, Teddy, Isla, and baby Kraft; Sister, Joyce Cromwell; Brother, Mike Cobleigh.
