WRIGHT, Jean Patricia - Age 91, of Port Orange, FL formerly of Davison, died Tuesday, July 27, 2021. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Pastor Michelle Wildridge officiating. Burial in Flint Memorial Park, Mt. Morris. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Monday from 4-8 PM. Those desiring may make contributions to Autism Alliance of Michigan.
Jean was born April 15, 1930 in Flint, the daughter of William and Morna (Wilson) Martin. She married James Wright June 13, 1945 in Flint and he preceded her in death July 5, 2012. She receive a nursing degree from Mott Community College. She was employed by Clara Barton Nursing Home and Lapeer Hospital as a RN. Jean was a member of Central Baptist Church and Twin Cities Baptist Church in Flint and First Baptist Church in Florida.
Surviving are: daughter, Lillian "Cookie" (Hugh) Willing of Florida; son, Alan (Theresa) Wright of Mt. Morris; grandchildren, Michael Willing of Florida, Michelle (Gil) Willing Wildridge of New Jersey, Jennifer Wright of Fenton, Torrey (Tony) Bell of Florida, Kim Amon of Oregon, and Chuck Amon of Missouri; 3 great grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; son, Bill Richard Wright; and brother, William Martin. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com. |
