DENNIS, Patrick Haley – age 87, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Tuesday, January 21, 2025. Funeral services will be held at 12PM Monday, January 27, 2025, at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Burial to follow at Dawn Memorial Cemetery in Lapeer. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Monday from 11AM until the time of service at 12PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Disabled American Veterans or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Patrick was born April 6, 1937, in Flint, Michigan, to the late Ernest and Beatrice (June) Dennis. He retired as a Supervisor from Buick in 1987 and was an active member of the Davison Jaycees prior to moving up north. Pat is an honorable U.S. Navy Veteran and served his country with pride. He enjoyed the outdoors, camping at Ludington State Park, riding his snowmobile and motorcycle, hunting, and fishing. Pat also enjoyed watching old western movies, making furniture, playing his guitar, sharing his Irish BS (as he would call it), and family reunions. Above all, Pat loved spending time with his beloved wife of 64 years - Mary, his family, and extended family.
Surviving are: Wife, Mary Dennis; Daughters: Sherry (D.J) Couture, Michele Crain, and Terrina (Pat) Liogghio; Son, Christopher Dennis, 9 grandchildren, Ashley Aumick (Travis), Amber Mills (Brandon), Adam Crain (Tricia), Rick Lawrence, Christopher Wysocki, Madyson Dennis, Skylar Dennis, Cheyenne Couture (Mattea), and Dakota Couture; 10 great grandchildren; Many other loving extended family members and dear friends. Pat was preceded in death by: Parents, Beatrice and Ernest; Brothers: Richard and Michael; Sister and brother-in-law, Yvonne and Dick Town.
