Phyllis A. Crandell, age 89, of Flushing, Michigan passed away on Wednesday, November 15, 2023. Phyllis was born on July 18,1934 and grew up in Coleman, Michigan with 7 siblings. She married Frank Crandell on February 7, 1953 and moved to Flushing in 1954. Phyllis was a Flushing School bus driver for 30 years, retiring in 1995. She enjoyed listening to country music, traveling , attending auctions and spending time with her family. Phyllis was loved very much and she will be missed dearly by all who knew her.
Phyllis is survived by her 5 children and their spouses; Larry ( Sandy ) Crandell, Cynthia ( Terry) Hutchinson, Gordon (Colleen) Crandell, Douglas (Ardath) Crandell and Matthew ( Juanita) Crandell,
grandchildren; Beau, Brett, Joshua and Drew Crandell, Sara and Noah Hutchinson, great-grandchildren;
Wren and Elodie McNea, Claire and Chloe Crandell, 2 sisters, Maxine Nemeth and Elouise Higgins, 4 sister-in-law's; Joyce Vought, Vicki Vought, Rita Crandell and Barbara Bowman, 1 brother in-law; Gerald Crandell.
Phyllis is preceded in death by her husband; Frank Arthur Crandell, her parents and her siblings; Lyle Vought, Stanley Vought, Chris Vought,Virginia Vought and Leslie Vought.
