Due to current government and Covid-19 restrictions, only 40 people are allowed in our chapel at one time and masks are required for entry. James was born June 27, 1934 in Bay City, Michigan to the late Joseph and Louise (Proulx) Jackson. Jim grew up in the Flint area and graduated from Hamady High School. He later resided in Lennon and finished living his life in the Clio area. He served his country proudly as a veteran of the U. S. Army, as a medic during the Korean Conflict. On December 31, 1986 he married the former Geraldine Ann Klatt, she sadly preceded him in death on October 24, 2019. Jim retired as a Die setter from General Motors, working both at Fisher Body I and later Buick City. He attended Messiah Lutheran Church in Clio. He was an avid bowler and enjoyed horseshoes. Jim had a beautiful voice and loved to sing, play the guitar and have a beer with his friends. Whenever he could, whether it be at a party or at a simple gathering, family and friends would always ask Jim to sing their favorite songs. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
