Lloyd Dale Nagy, 65, a lifetime resident of Lapeer, passed away on August 13, 2022. He was born in Lapeer, MI on May 6, 1957, to Lewis and Mattie Nagy. Lloyd was a hardworking man. He retired from General Motors after many years of employment and was currently working at Albar Industries Inc. in Lapeer. He loved working on cars and his motorized bicycle that he drove all around town. Lloyd was kindhearted and very devoted to his children. He would often say "my kids and grandkids are the most important people in my life."
Lloyd is survived by his children Katrina Straight, Belinda Edgerton, Nathanial (Caitlin) Nagy, Desirée (Ryan) Mead, and Derick (Tonya) Spanicciati; 13 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild; brother Joseph (Diane) Childers; sister Patty (Terry) Briggs; also several nieces and nephews.
Lloyd was preceded in death by his parents Lewis and Mattie Nagy; son Adam Ray Nagy; granddaughter Lidia; grandson Landon; sister Pam Boras.
Friends may visit on Wednesday, August 17th from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 18th at 11:00 a.m at Lynch & Sons Funeral Directors - Capstick Chapel in Lapeer. Lloyd will be laid to rest at Stiles Cemetery in Mayfield Township. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lloyd's family. |
