MAYO, Jason William – Of Flint, age 32, died Saturday, December 27, 2014.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, January 2, 2015 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Deacon Rod Amon officiating.
Visitation 2-8 p.m. Thursday and 10 a.m. Friday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, family requests that donations be made to “The Bubby PKS Kids Fund.” This was a cause close to Jason’s heart, because his cousin, who he loved beyond words, Patrick Bubby Kelley has been afflicted by this syndrome. Please make checks payable to Tim or Annie Kelley.
Jason was a donor for the Gift of Life Program.
Jason was born in Bombay, India on February 12, 1982, the son of Ted and Barbara Mayo.
He was a graduate of Powers High School Class of 2000; graduate of Hurley School of Radiology in 2004 and graduate of William Beaumont School of Radiology for CT and MRI. He was RT, CT, MRI and cardiac CT certified.
Jason liked to bicker and agitate, but he had a heart of gold, always putting others before himself; generous beyond words.
He is truly missed.
Jason is survived by his mother, Barbara;
aunt and uncles, Fred and Pat Herrick,
Jim and Kathy Mayo and Phil Pope;
many loving cousins, Kathy, Chris, Mike Norman;
furry family, Lily, Fatty and Baby;
his special Beaumont family and his Premier family.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ted; grandparents; uncle, Bob Mayo; his furry friends, Abbie, Maggie and Tyrone.
Jay,
You were an amazing son, I am sorry you were taken away so soon. You will always live in my heart, until we meet again. I love you from here to the moon. Mom.
