Harold Arley Brandvold, age 78, of Flint, Michigan passed away on Saturday, September 16, 2023.
Harold was born on July 2, 1945, in Flint, Michigan to Helmer and Marion (Harburn) Brandvold. He loved to go fishing, and was known as an avid Red Wings fan. In the 1970's, Harold coached a Peewee hockey team who won the championship. For thirty years, he was the supervisor of the Flint Board of Education Transportation Department. Harold was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Harold is survived by his beloved wife of fifty-three years Martha; children Tamara (Mike) Jaimes and Ben Brandvold (Donielle), Becky (Brian) McCarty and Timothy Brandvold; brother Brian (Beth) Brandvold; grandchildren Brooke (Justin) Wood and Kaylynn Brandvold; great grandson Austin Wood; and cousin George Harburn.
Harold was preceded in death by his parents Helmer and Marion Brandvold and many other loving family members.
A memorial visitation for Harold will be held Friday, October 6, 2023 from 9:00 AM until the time of the memorial service at 11:00 AM at Brown Funeral Home-1480 E. Hill Road, Grand Blanc, MI.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that contributions be made the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in Harold's memory.
