Linda O’Brien of Grand Blanc, Michigan passed away peacefully at home Sunday, September 3, 2023 at the age of 72.
Linda is survived by her husband Dan O’Brien, children Jonathan O’Brien, Jenny (Ryan) Lorencz, Thomas (Christine) O’Brien, grandchildren Riley, John, and Reece as well as siblings Nikki (Barry) Stevens, Leslie Rismiller, and Doug Singleman.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents John and Martha Singleman.
Linda was born in New Weston, Ohio on May 16, 1951 to John and Martha Singleman. Linda was a resident of Ohio through her early 20s. While studying to be an x-ray technician, she met her life partner Dan O’Brien. After marrying in 1972, Linda and Dan moved to multiple states before settling permanently in Grand Blanc, Michigan.
Linda’s main priority in life was raising a family and doing whatever she could to better the lives of others. Linda loved spending time with family and friends. She was always there to lend a listening ear, a helping hand, some quick wit, and a smile. She was a remarkable wife, Mom, Gigi, friend, and person.
Visitation will be held from 4-8 pm on Wednesday, September 13 and from 12-1 pm on Thursday, September 14 at Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint, Michigan.
Funeral service will be held 1 pm on Thursday, September 14 at the funeral home.
