YOUNG - Robert, G- Age 83, of Flushing, passed away, November 23, 2021. Funeral Service 11 AM Thursday, December 2, 2021 at Sharp Funeral Homes Swartz Creek Chapel. 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Pastor Bill Jentzen Officiating. Visitation 4PM - 8 PM Wednesday and 9 AM until the time of Service Thursday. Memorial Contributions in Robert's memory would be appreciated to St. Jude Children's Hospital www.stjude.org./
Robert was born September 9, 1938 in Sandusky, the son of Forrest and Mary (Potter) Young. He married Charlotte Kay (nee Moss) in Mt. Morris December 31, 1992. Robert was employed by Grand Trunk Rail Road and Loomis Armored. He served in the U.S. 101st. Army Airborne. Robert was a member of Crystal Creek Church in Flushing. He enjoyed listening to music, reading, watching Hallmark movies, golfing, and playing cards.
Robert is survived by: his wife, Kay; children, Scott (Brenda) Young, Sandy Sherman, Anthony Young, Angie (Timm) Marks, Bill (Roberta) Jentzen, Terry (Regina) Jentzen, and Michelle (Steve) Stein; 19 grand children; and 19 great grand children; brother Danny (Ruby) Young; sister, Margie (Ron) Jones; and several nieces and nephews.
