WILLIAMS, Linda Janet - Age 82, of Fenton, passed away Friday, November 24, 2023. Cremation has taken place and a memorial gathering will be held from 2-6 PM Sunday, December 10, 2023 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Those desiring may make contributions to the Alzheimer's Association.
Linda was born August 3, 1941 in Flint, the daughter of Charles and Josephine (Bickley) Rice. She was a 1959 graduate of Mandeville High School and she attended Mott Community College. She married Gary Leonard Williams June 4, 1960 in Flint and he preceded her in death January 9, 2016. She had resided in Fenton since 1972 coming from Flint. Linda enjoyed trains, gardening and watching and feeding the birds.
Surviving are: her children, Gregory Williams of Grand Blanc, Timothy (Wendy) Williams of Flint, Christopher Williams of Fenton and Andrea (Ty) Smith of Fenton; grandchildren, Alyssa Williams, Nickolas Williams, Britney Williams, Gabrielle Smith and Meghan Smith; sisters, Elin Parks of Stanton and Pamela (Mike) Watson of Swartz Creek; and many nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; and sisters, Pat Smith and Sue Spillane. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com. |
