NELSON, SHIRLEY – Of Grand Blanc, age 94, passed away Friday, April 3, 2026 at her residence.
Cremation has taken place and a private burial will take place.
Shirley was born in Flint, Michigan on April 18, 1931, the daughter of the late Mark and Beatrice (Noffsinger)Barber.
She married George Joseph Nelson on March 3, 1951 in Angola, Indiana.
Shirley liked crafting (sewing), gardening and loved to take care of her grandkids.
Surviving are her daughter Denise Nelson, her son Joe (Sandra) Nelson, son-in-law John Schreiber; grandchildren, Jason (Bridget), Jeffrey, Nikolas; great-grandchildren, Jaden, Owen, Jamisen, Silas and Caleb.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband George Joseph, daughter Debra Jo, grandson J.J Schreiber, best friend Bev Fitzner and brothers and sisters.
