BOISMIER, Donald LaVerne – of Flint, MI, age 78, passed away Saturday, October 7, 2023. A Graveside Service, with Military Honors, will be held 4 PM Thursday, October 12, 2023 at Richfield Union Cemetery. The family will receive visitors 1:30-3:30 PM Thursday, October 12, 2023 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423.
Don was born in Flint, MI on March 16, 1945, son of the late LaVerne and Sylvia (Moore) Boismier. He was a graduate of Davison High School. Don proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force from 1965-1972. On April 1, 1990, he married Bonnie Moore in Nashville, TN and she preceded him in death on January 30, 2014. He was a member of the Otter Lake Seventh-day Adventist Church.
Don is survived by 4 children, Dean (Patty) Boismier, Eric (Mary) Boismier, Timothy Boismier and Melissa Contos; 2 grandchildren, Joseph and Sam (Clay) Owens; great-granddaughter, Hannah Owens; 3 sisters-in-law, Cecilia (David) Morris, Frances (Jerry) Miller and Katherine Breckenridge; many other loving family members and good friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, LaVerne and Sylvia Boismier; wife, Bonnie Boismier; 2 siblings, Robert Boismier and Nancy Beckwith; uncle, Oscar (Fern) Boismier.
